I spent my new year in a simple but fun way. I encountered exciting and delirious scenes during the new year's eve. It was almost 12:00 a.m when we left the house and joined in with our neighbors to see the fireworks and firecrackers. 

          One of our neighbors light a firework but it stumbled down so it didn't flew and exploded near the ground! I almost died of a heart attack because of it, and the worst part is they seem to enjoy and continued in doing it so I really got angry and shouted "Hey! Stop doing that!", instead of backing up my statement, my peers laughed at me. I said to myself "Shouldn't they help me in reprimanding those guys?", I was only thinking of our own safety, what's wrong with that! After a while, a drunk guy approached them and he seem so pissed off by the racket their making, he even broke a bottle of beer! But there were no fight that happened, merely the drunk dude just stop them from doing it. 

         So after that scene, I went inside and before my eyes there were so many kinds of dishes placed in the table such as: spaghetti, cakes, ice cream and many others. It was a blast for my taste buds! I really enjoyed the food , it was very delicious.

        Then suddenly, the count-down had started, so all of us went outside and joined in the count-down. "10, 9 ,8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Happy New Year!", fireworks started exploding in the sky, firecrackers were exploding on the ground and people were greeting each other. 

       And I, in that night, was truly happy that I met the year 2014 along with my family and beloved ones with a feeling in our hearts that there are many more to come.
